Documentation

One of the most impressive aspects of the Java programming language is that it has a builtin documentation generation mechanism. This encourages the programmer to make the effort to generate documentation, since the output is significant compared to the cost of creation, and there is a real return in productivity.

The Giant Java Tree takes full advantage of this feature. Developers are encouraged to fully document every contribution, although this is not a strict requirement. We hope, someday, to have documentation specialists who will come in and take over where the developers leave off.

There are several entry points to the documentation tree:

The Package List shows every java package on the tree.
The Package List displayed in Frame mode.
The Class Tree shows a hierarchical view of every Class on the tree.
The Method Index shows every method on the tree. Beware The index is very large.
